What’s in your mouth?

Step 1 / 3

At only four weeks after fertilization, your mouth develops as one of the first structures in your body. This is because your mouth plays a MAJOR role in your biology.

And yet, few recognize the importance of the mouth in modern times. In fact, even dentists are not trained to understand the biological subtleties of the mouth. Unfortunately, this ignorance around our biology is contributing to epidemics of illnesses, disease, and death. The good news is that when you know what to look for, mastering your mouth is not complicated and serves as the bedrock for a healthy life!

A large part of our mission is to provide humans with the resources and tools we need to care for our mouths biologically and minimize the impact of dental disease. We are so glad to have you on this journey with us! Let’s start by identifying two important lenses to look through when observing our mouths.

Your mouth is a window

Have you heard the expression “Never look a gift horse in the mouth”?

The phrase originated when livestock were a more common gift idea. This idiom advises the listener to receive acts of generosity with grace, but it also reminds us that we can learn a lot from looking at our mouths!

In this quiz, we will help you assess your mouth, identify the potential problems, and consequently create opportunities for you to generate greater health!

Your mouth is a gateway

Our mouths are the main entrance to our body and we build ourselves from what enters this gate. As with any gate, it functions to keep things out as much as allow things in. It needs to be strong and impenetrable when closed yet remain welcoming and pristine for invited guests.

In The BioDentist Way™ we’ll support you in becoming a better gatekeeper by helping you to fortify any vulnerabilities in your walls and discern hostile visitors from friendly ones. When your gate is strong and your gatekeeping is sound, you will create optimal conditions in your biology and lasting health!
