A toxin is any physiological matter or energy that stresses or damages a biological organism. When we come into contact with toxins, they disturb all aspects of health including our immune system, mental clarity, energy, and metabolic functions. Toxins include, but are not limited to, pesticides, chemicals, plastics, metals, electromagnetic radiation, certain gases, psychological disturbances, and countless other examples.
The toxicity of any substance or energy is dependent on the dose and the rate of exposure. For example, even water can act as a human toxin when ingested in extreme quantities. With respect to your health, we are especially concerned with toxins that are harmful at any dose.
